All products are subject to availability.  We reserve the right to discontinue any product or service at any time without notice.

4. Custom Orders

Custom projects require customer approval of specifications, designs, dimensions, materials, engraving details, and other requested features prior to production.

Once production has begun:

• Changes may result in additional charges.

• Changes may extend completion timelines.

• Certain changes may require a new quote.

Due to the personalized nature of custom products, all custom orders, personalized products, engraved products, and made-to-order items are non-refundable and non-returnable except in cases of verified manufacturing defects.

5. Pricing and Deposits

Prices displayed on our website are subject to change without notice.

Due to fluctuations in lumber and material costs, quotes are valid for thirty (30) days unless otherwise specified.

For custom projects:

• A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before production begins.

• Remaining balances must be paid prior to shipment, delivery, or pickup.

• Failure to make timely payments may result in project delays or cancellation.

Sales tax will be applied where required by law.

Credit card processing fees may apply. Customers may avoid such fees when alternative payment methods are accepted by the Company.

6. Natural Wood Characteristics

Wood is a natural material and each piece is unique.

Customers acknowledge that natural variations may occur, including:

• Grain patterns

• Color variations

• Figure and character markings

• Knots

• Mineral streaks

• Natural imperfections

These variations are not defects and are part of the beauty and uniqueness of handcrafted wood products.

Products may differ from website photographs, mockups, renderings, or previous projects.

7. Wood Movement and Environmental Conditions

Wood naturally expands and contracts based on environmental conditions.

West Texas Wood Shop shall not be responsible for:

• Minor cracking

• Checking

• Warping

• Splitting

• Shrinkage

• Expansion

• Movement caused by humidity, temperature changes, misuse, improper storage, or lack of maintenance.

8. Product Care and Maintenance

Customers are responsible for properly maintaining all wood products.

Failure to follow recommended care instructions may result in damage that is not covered by any warranty or guarantee.

Customers should:

• Hand wash only

• Never place wood products in dishwashers

• Avoid prolonged exposure to water

• Regularly condition products with food-safe board oil or conditioner

• Store products in a climate-controlled environment

West Texas Wood Shop assumes no liability for damage resulting from improper use, neglect, abuse, misuse, or failure to follow care instructions.

9. Food Contact Products

Products intended for food use are finished with food-safe finishes where applicable.

Customers remain responsible for proper cleaning, sanitation, maintenance, and safe food handling practices.

West Texas Wood Shop shall not be liable for illness, injury, contamination, or damages arising from improper use or maintenance of food-contact products.

10. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping and delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

West Texas Wood Shop is not responsible for delays caused by:

• Shipping carriers

• Weather events

• Supply chain interruptions

• Labor shortages

• Acts of God

• Circumstances beyond our reasonable control

Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon delivery of the product to the shipping carrier.

Customers must inspect shipments immediately upon receipt.

Claims for shipping damage must be submitted within five (5) business days of delivery and include photographs of:

• The damaged product

• Packaging materials

• Shipping labels

11. Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges

Due to the handmade and custom nature of our products, all sales are final.

We do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges except when:

• The wrong item was shipped, or

• A manufacturing defect is verified by West Texas Wood Shop.

Requests must be submitted within five (5) business days of delivery.

We reserve the sole right to determine whether a product qualifies for replacement, repair, store credit, or refund.

13. Custom Design Ownership

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all:

created by West Texas Wood Shop remain the sole property of West Texas Wood Shop.

Purchase of a physical product does not transfer ownership of any design rights.

14. Project Photography and Marketing

West Texas Wood Shop reserves the right to photograph completed projects and use such photographs for:

• Marketing

• Advertising

• Social media

• Website galleries

• Portfolios

• Promotional materials

unless otherwise agreed to in writing before project completion.

15. Website Use
